Fairacres Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Bi-Vocational Pastor to lead our church family in spiritual growth, biblical teaching, and community outreach.
We are a welcoming church in Las Cruces committed to sharing the Gospel, discipling believers, and serving our community with the love of Christ.
Position Overview
This part-time pastoral role is ideal for a servant leader who feels called to ministry while also maintaining outside employment. The Bi-Vocational Pastor will provide spiritual leadership and shepherd the congregation through preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and church development.
What We Are Looking For
Our church is seeking someone who will:
- Prepare and deliver biblically sound Sunday sermons, aligned with Scripture
- Support and shepherd our members through prayer, encouragement, and pastoral care
- Help lead our church in outreach to the Fairacres and greater Las Cruces community
- Work alongside deacons, ministry leaders, and volunteers
- Provide biblical leadership with a servant’s heart
- Support baptisms, communion, weddings, and funerals as needed
Qualifications - A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a calling to pastoral ministry
- Agreement with The Baptist Faith and message.
- Strong biblical teaching and preaching skills
- Previous ministry or pastoral leadership experience preferred
- Ability to balance ministry responsibilities with outside employment
- Strong relational and leadership skills
- Seminary training or ministry education preferred
Compensation
Compensation will be discussed based on experience, availability, and needs.
